Associate Producer

As an Associate Producer at PlayEveryWare you'll be critical to the success of port projects and co-development initiatives. You’ll work alongside indie and AAA development teams on unique and exciting games with no two projects ever the same.

Our focus on console ports, co-development, and original development provides the opportunity to work on cutting edge technology with world-class developers and teams across the globe.

This opportunity is for a full-time, benefits eligible position in Seattle, WA. Due to COVID-19, all positions with PlayEveryWare are subject to remote interviews and work at this time. Once safe to do so, we anticipate all staff returning to on-site work at our Georgetown office.


Associate Producer

The Associate Producer assists with ensuring that builds are delivered on time and at the studio’s expectation of quality, satisfying the needs and requirements of clients, partners, and first-party console manufacturers. This role is responsible for organizing day-to-day execution of project work as well as revising project documentation in accordance with agile development best practices.

The Associate Producer is a go-to person for removing work blockages and triaging issues before they impact development. In this role they collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure that requirements are clearly defined and expectations are managed. The Associate Producer is responsible for curating a strong base of knowledge of risk management strategies and is able to apply their knowledge across both short and long term development ensuring success of the product and health of the development team.

They are also responsible for learning project management skills including maintaining project schedules in a no-crunch development environment.


Responsibilities

  • Help plan, de-risk, and execute projects at all stages of the game development cycle

  • Help manage relationships with external partners such as publishers, IP holders, and QA partners

  • Build and utilize a base of knowledge for first-party certification requirements across platforms

  • Monitor and ensure the health of project teams

  • Ensure milestones are delivered on time and on quality



Qualifications

  • A bachelor's degree in a related field, such as game design, project management, business, or a specific industry-related discipline (e.g., film, television, software development)

  • A minimum of 1 year of experience in project management or similar. This can include internships, co-op programs, or part-time roles in project management or related areas

  • Strong understanding of organizational tools and eager to learn project management methodologies

  • Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills to interact effectively with cross-functional teams

  • Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines

  • An ownership and accountability focused mindset

  • A strong alignment with and belief in PlayEveryWare values

  • Prior experience in the gaming or entertainment industry is a plus

This role is open to multiple levels based on experience and skills for the job
Washington State Pay Range for the Associate Producer level
$55,000—$65,000 USD
